Isofom® S

DESCRIPTION

Isofom® S Damping-Absorbing composites consist of self-adhesive viscoelastic damping sheet (Amortson® Bi) and a polyester based absorbent foam (Resobson® S).
This technique offers an efficient combination of damping with absorption in order to obtain effective insulating products.
The physical properties and the acoustic performances of Isofom® S are directly relational to the components of which they are made.
This enables them to be adapted according to the results required and the utilisation constraints.

APPLICATIONS

They are particularly intended for lining the inside of covers, casings or enclosures containing a noise source, when the gains obtained with purely absorbent methods are inadequate.
When the UL94 norm is required, Resobson® S is replaced by Resobson® S/30.

IMPLEMENTATION

Isofom® S can be fitted with glue or an adhesive layer at a minimum temperature of 20 °C.
The support must be absolutely clean and degreased.
Isofom® S must be applied by pressing strongly (2 kg/dm2).

AVAILABILITY

Plates: 1000 x 1500 mm.
Shapes cut to customer’s requirements.
