Isofom® BS

DESCRIPTION

Isofom® BS Damping-Absorbing composites consist of self-adhesive viscoelastic damping sheet (Amortson® Bi) and melamine based absorbent foam (Resobson® BS).
This technique offers an efficient combination of damping with absorption in order to obtain effective insulating products.
The physical properties and the acoustic performance of Isofom BS are directly relational to the components of which they are made.
This enables them to be adapted according to the result required and the utilisation constraints.

APPLICATIONS

They are particularly intended for lining the inside of covers, casings or enclosures containing a noise source, when the gains obtained with purely absorbent methods are inadequate.

IMPLEMETATION

Isofom® BS can be fitted with glue or an adhesive layer at a minimum temperature of 20 °C. The support must be absolutely clean and degreased. Isofom® BS must be applied by pressing strongly (2 kg/dm2).
