Resobson® sound absorbers are porous fibre (mineral or synthetic textile) or cellular (foam) based products. Their effectiveness varies according to their characteristics (weight, thickness) and surface. In many cases, particularly with partial cowling applications (large openings), the use of purely absorbent materials can prove sufficient (required improvement below 10 dB).
